KHSD is extremely proud to announce that Gabrielle Krinas has been awarded the RAD solo Seal Award.
The Solo Seal examination may only be attempted by students who gain their RAD Advanced 2 with Distinction. It is estimated that less than 1% of RAD students in over 70 countries worldwide who take their RAD exams reach this level- and even less are awarded the Solo Seal.
Fondly known as Elle - she has now taken up her full time training in London at the Central School of Ballet.

Our Day School ladies were very lucky to have Jasmin Durham (left), former dancer with The Australian Ballet, and Matthew Bindley (above) former ballet master, Leipzig Ballet Germany, tutor them at The Oak in November.

So very proud of these 2 young ladies who were both offered scholarships at the Youth Grand Prix Australian Semi Finals last night in Sydney.
Charlotte (15yrs) was awarded Top 12 in the Senior (15-19) Classical division, a short term scholarship with the Alberta Ballet School Canada and one of only 4 chosen by former ballerina and now Artistic Director of the English National Ballet School Viviana Durante, for a short term scholarship at ENBS. As well as Summer School acceptances to John Cranko School, Stuttgart Germany and Oklahoma City Ballet.
Soraya (17yrs) was one of only 2 awarded a short term scholarship to the Royal Ballet School Antwerp.

How wonderful. Georgia Willshire was honoured to be chosen as a finalist for both the classical and contemporary finals at the Australian Classical Grand Prix held over the past weekend and how wonderful for Georgia, awarded the Runner Up in the Senior Contemporary section.

Recently a small group of KHSDians travelled to Wellington, NZ to complete in Alana Haines Australasian awards. We are so proud of how all 4 girls performed. Congratulations to Charlotte and Soraya for going through to the quarter finals.
Past KHSDians Mimi Pierce and William Fitzgerald were prize winners at the AHAs.

Some of KHSDs R.A.D exam students participate in the annual Betsy Sawers Memorial Graded and Vocational Awards. Everyone danced beautifully and we are proud of every one who took to the stage. Results can be seen here.
KHSD Performance groups and some soloists perform at local competitions annually.
The fantastic results can be found on facebook. We are very proud of every KHSD dancer who participated and performed showing their love of dance goes beyond KHSD walls.
